I have read a couple sample guidelines on Fire Engineerings forum and on fireopsonline.com. I like how they take complex topics and break them down to the simplest formats. As a volunteer firefighter, I couldnt imagine a book with more useful information. I cant wait to get my copy. (Steve Weston)

What every Officer needs!!!

This book is one that every officer needs to have with them on the rig and around the fire house. This is a tremendous book to set up operational training and to perpare yourself along with your crew to carry out safe and productive operations. This book deals with all types of senerios and how to break them down, along with the tactial worksheet.

Another great tool

The authors do a fantastic job of creating an easy to follow guideline to running a job. It won't teach you how to put out a fire (if you need that info grab another book first) but if you already can it will give you a checklist of things to do and an order for doing them that will make you a more efficient officer.
